Default JMA Bruntingthorpe Two Day Flying Event

The U.K. J.M.A. are holding a two day meeting at Bruntingthorpe this is a superb site with 10000' of hard runway, we also had the weather today blue skies, and light wind.

Many thanks to the team for organising this event.

Alistair, as always outstanding photos. Obviously I missed a great weekend of flying. Hopefully catch up with everyone in a few weeks.

My thanks, too, to Roger for arranging it and Alistair for the pictures. Shame it wasn't better attended ! My thanks, too , to the guys who assisted me trying to find the gear problem on my Hawk Which flew just circuits and rollers with the gear down, as the doors would not close.

In fact, it WAS the Jetronics sequencer. I read the manual this morning, tried the reset, ( push BOTH buttons whilst swtching the receiver on ) He presto, everything worked normally, another lesson learnt.

I have several of these sequencers which have all been perfect perhaps this 10 year old unit needs replacing !

Anyway, thanks again, guys.

Hi David, I also had a Jet Tronic product fail at Bruntingthorpe. Mine was a no loss brake valve and this also worked after a reset. Problem is once the radio is switched off and back on again the valve failed to work again. Might be worth checking yours after cycling the radio a couple of times if you haven't already.

Jason
