Default Shipping Costs from Germany

Hey guys,
I am considering ordering a Futura 2.5 from germany and wondering what I might expect in shipping costs to Florida. Anyone able to give me a ballpark based on personal experience or other reliable info? Thanks.

I paid ~$700 to ship a Dynamo from Italy. I was able to negotiate with the distributor and he picked up part of that shipping costs, so it wasn't too bad at about $400. I suspect that shipping from Germany will be similar.

About 3 years ago I paid ~$350 to ship a Super Scorpion from Aviation Design in France. However, this was shipped through the French postal service, not with a public carrier like UPS. Whenever possible, I always prefer to go with a public carrier - just seems easier to track if there's an issue. I lost a turbine in the Spanish postal service.

Hope that helps,

Robert

My pulse jet was shipped from Germany several years ago. It cam by DHL and from the time it was picked up at the sellers house, it was delivered to me in Wisconsin in less than 48 hours. It was ~450 € back in 2016.

Hi Mark

I paid $ 950 for my F86 from Tomahawk to west coast. I also bought a Futura 2.5 about 6 years ago. The problem is that the fuse is one piece so the box was similar to the box that F86 came in. Just a little skinnier so you might have to pay similar amount. I hope this helps.

Default Shipping costs from Germany.

Shipping from Tomahawk for a Futura 2.5. $138.00 to package it. 750.00 to ship to USA. Then Custom fees based on airport. Close to 1000.00 $ by the time you get it.

All they do is hook you up with Tomahawk.
