Your customers are so lucky to have a talented builder! I'd love to see the progress even though this thread contains many build photos.
Best regards,

Paul will build himself, all I did was make matching carbon plates as I used.

I’m sure he will do pictures

That came out nice, it will fly great.
Four day build! Yikes I've been working on mine for six weeks and I'm about halfway thru.

He didn’t paint the inside, so that saves a day!

He’s an experienced builder too. No thinking

I was planning a Xicoy X90 for my Rebel Hot, then I found I couldn't get one until late winter 22. So, I pulled the K70 out of my Joke for the RH. I stopped working on the RH and found a used P100-Rx for the Joker. That took me a couple weeks to install. I did a bunch of other improvements. So back at the RH and I find today I can get a X90 by in a week. So now there is some re-work to do and I end up with an extra turbine.
It's all fun and enjoyable work. Beats the crap out of sitting behind a computer all day.

Taking some of the equipment out of a HSD Viper (not the junk servos!)

Thank you, hes actually doing better. They didnt think he was gonna make it,had to put ventilator in his throat, in a coma , Thought he was gonna be on dialysis for rest of his life. But hes making an awesome recovery. No dialysis, and just a lot of PT. Lost a lot of weight while he was out. But he made it. Just a lot of recovery.

I lost my canopy pin. I've been told it is 2mm wire. Could someone tell me how long it is and the diameter of the ball on the end?

Thanks!

How did they fit? Any modifications needed to any of the pockets at all? (saw your previous posts but you didn't specify what you did to the pockets).

Expecting my rebel to be delivered today. X90 for power. Hope I don't rip the wings off.

Most wear badges, fire helmets, or dog tags. But you're welcome.

I've been sticking the guts in my all yellow Rebel Hot. I put the flap servos in last night. I was totally dreading this process. However, I had both servos installed in less than a half an hour. It helped that the MKS HV747 fit right in without needing to enlarge the servo openings.
Then I found one of my aileron MKS servos was dead in the box. Brand new and no good - weird. I bought it last February, the airplane was delayed by 9-months due to the shipping fiasco. I hope Chief Aircraft honors the warranty.
I'm using a K70G4 in it.

Big tray and no wires to poke up thru it will make maintenance a snap

I like the way the air trap came out

The fuselage and CARF tail pipe were just made for the K70G4

I always check them before installing them, no matter the reliability of the manufacturer but I'm sure that if Chief doesn't, Thomas at MKS USA will take care of you.

By the way where does everyone source those fancy rubber grommets for cable management?

Amazon:
Amazon Amazon
or McMaster Carr
https://www.mcmaster.com/grommets/grommet-assortments/

The cheapies I got from Amazon smell really bad and get hard pretty quick. The quality is bad. The ones form McMaster-Carr may be better.

Ah I didn't bother checking McMaster since I figured they'd only sell the 1 or a pack of 100000. Good to see they have assortments. Thanks for the tip.

I see a lot of guys have painted the interior of the rebel with some sort of sealant. Is there any merit to this besides cosmetics? Looks very professional but wondering if it's worth the effort and added weight.

Cosmetic and adds weight, I'd pass. It looks nice but weight adds up and this one flys nice when it's light.
