The U.K. JMA Meeting - Deenthorpe
The U.K. JMA held their last weekend meeting of the 2019 at Deenthorpe, Northhamptonshire.
This airfield has lots of history, constructed in 1943 and allocated to the U.S Army Airforce, with the opening of the airfield in October 1943 the 401st Bombardment Group arrived from Great Falls, Montana in November 1943.
Now a busy airfield with Micro-light aircraft (Ultra-Light)
The weather was good today, the rain just about stayed away.
Once again a big thank you to Roger K, and his team for organising the event, and the use of the "Chuck Wagon" :-)
I will post a few photographs from to day.

CARF models fly in
The weather got better after Alistair left, the last two hours were the best with little wind and bright sky.
I had 5 flights with my UF and I remembered what an amazing aeroplane this is-built light and well powered, the speed differential would beat almost everything. We had a day of ‘tuning’ again bullying two of the CARF Hawk owners to move the balance back to where it really flies nice, all three batteries moved and 50g of lead Velcro under the tail cone was not quite enough on one of the two. The other an example I built back in 2012 is work in progress, we can still do more to improve that with a lighter turbine fitted and other changes. Tomorrow is day 2

Fabulous weekend, not flown the same model as many times for a long time, I really love my Ultra Flash, amazing aeroplane!
Another good day today, lots of flying and banter.
Looking forward to 2020 JMA meetings.
