This is a good, little tutorial. Did you need to use a release agent?

no just spray it with car wax and use paper towel to wipe it evenly and this works perfect with the plaster

Cool, when you're ready Ill share a technique to paint the gold so its transparent but still has a gold highlight in the sun. Looks just like the real thing!

Ok guys make a orders so after the material and something to support the hobby needs I think $50 each would be a fair price, please let me know so I could order some 1:16” lexan for the canopies thanks again, and if someone has a brand new uncut canopy for rare jet let me know so maybe we can make some more stuff for others.

The pictures will not show but I was able to tint the glass with special paint from Europe to tint rc cars canopies before the actual paint to make it look like the changing the color, the down side is that the paint makes the canopy less clear but the effect looks so good I just don’t care about the perfect clear look .

So the concussion, don’t paint the plug just go detect over the plaster , the paint will bubble and stick to the lexan and make sure when mixing the plaster down make bubbles and make it thick floating liquid like super thick paint , and wax the canopy before porting the plaster
