Sorry if this is too soon, but it really needs to be said. I think the FAA priorities are a hot mess. NTSB (one of my bosses) puts out a safety recommendation to install devices to protect people and the FAA does not make it a mandatory rule. Yet the modeler is subject to the must, shall rules.

more lives have been lost to the NTSB recommendation than the new rules being made for us.
