A few more from UK meetings, and Jet Power 2019

Note the abundance of 35 MHz aerials in some of the photographs

Some great memories in there. I’m planning to refurbish my small Airworld L-39 to fly this year...

Great photos, Alistair, many happy memories of wonderful flying days, they WILL be back !

Nice to see the pic of Al Pollocks Tower Bridge flight. I was in the RAF at the time, flying Canberras, which WOULD have fitted through the bridge if I had had the balls to do it ! That said , there was a universal feeling amongst those of us on the squadrons at the time that Al should have been promoted , not vilified ! His treatment was a bl...dy disgrace by a bunch of spineless V senior officers.

A few more, note the JPX from an earlier era, probably twice the weight and half the power of the X45

Note the JPX from an earlier era. compared to the X45, probably twice the weight and half the power. A game changer in its day though.
