Default Thunder Valley Jet Rally

LET'S NOT FORGET THE THUNDER VALLEY JET RALLY!
BEING BILLED TO RIVAL FLORIDA, JOK, AND BITW!
SEPTEMBER 11-13 2020
AMOS RC Field in Lincoln, Ca.

Why Attend Thunder in the Valley Jet Rally?

This will be the premier RC Jet event in Northern California.
This is more than just a “fly in”- it will be an EVENT!

We expect 50 pilots and over 100 planes from the Central Valley, Bay Area, Nevada and Socal.
We know the temperature in September can be warm so we are preparing with 3,000 sq. ft. of shade, electrical outlets throughout the pits for your own fans and Air Conditioned Awards/Dinner tent- open 24/7.
We welcome RC Jets of all kinds- from large turbine powered monsters to small foam EDF’s.
There are 7 high quality acrylic awards to be earned up for grabs and plenty of crowd participation for the People's Choice award.
We will have a professional announcer and killer sound system that covers the entire pits and spectator’s area.
We are promoting through social media, email and local TV stations so there will be TONS of spectators (in a shaded area.)
We will have an Air conditioned Awards/Dining tent with high quality catered food and plenty of seating.
We will offer free beer and wine with the Awards dinner on Saturday night.
We will have a renovated and clean food concession stand (The Cantina) cooking BBQ burgers, dogs, chicken, fries and a lot more.
We will also have two vendors, including sponsoring "buddy box" flying for any AMA members that would like to safely fly a turbine powered jet
If you would like to have a Turbine Waiver Pilot and CD sign you off, this may be done on Thursday or Friday. Please have all AMA papers
The pits will have electrical drops for battery charging, cooling fans and any other of your electrical needs.
We will be selling high quality Polo Shirts (with the Thunder Valley Logo) in addition to T-Shirts.
We will have a professional Videographer on site Saturday interviewing Pilots and filming flights for a video presentation after dinner.
We will have a “semi-silent” auction with some very cool stuff to bid on, after the video presentation on Saturday night.
We have a long runway with 100” plus runouts on each end, not to mention great field orientation for flying all day.
Over 100 acres of emergency landing area., just in case- no rock, trees, shrubs or obstacles.
On Saturday at noon spectators will vote for the People’s Choice award AND we will have a smokin 3D show with crazy helis and jets
Only 3 jets allowed in the air at one time- plenty of room to fly
On Friday night you are invited to a “no-host” Buffet at the Thunder Valley Casino. They will shuttle us every 30 minutes to and from.
East RV access (in and out) and lots of space for free overnight parking- starting Monday September 7th- Labor Day
We are 2 miles from Thunder Valley Casino and will get a special rate on Rooms and Buffet.
We will have hand washing stations and plenty of hand sanitizer.

Didn't realized this was the same weekend as GSWJR/Waco Jet Rally.

Come to this one instead, it will be worth it, and cooler than Waco that time of year.

I hope my BVM F-18 gets here before that. Have everything ready to install just waiting on the jet.

You guys on the fence about this event, or maybe planning to go to a different event should really take the time to make this one.

The crew out there are really going out on a limb and sticking their necks out for this event.

This event will be as good as any you have been to.

So far there are quite a few, but there is always room for more.

I also was trying to register and noticed the club's webpage is inactive, I send a massage to our president yesterday, he told me today that it's been taking care off and should be up and running in a day or two.
Our webmaster was just replaced and the new webmaster is getting control of our webpage as I type, as soon as it is up and running I will register for this event.

My fleet will be there.
