Default Older Jetcat P80 ecu battery?

I recent bought a pst reaction with an older P80 in it. The plane was never finished but the turbine has 1hour and 28 minutes of fun time on it. It calls for a 6 cell NiMh pack I’m wondering if I can run a 2 call LiOn pack on the V 5.0 ecu or if I will damage anything. This is my first jetcat my only other experience is with kingtech so I figured it wouldn’t hurt asking. Thanks for any input in advance

Up to 2s Li-Po at 8.4v is fine.

Dave:

I thought you could use a 2s Li po woth ECU V6.0 or higher, not 5.0? Maybe I am mistaken.

The change in the Limits menu is just the monitoring ‘warning’ of a low battery. It’s not changing anything as far as voltage getting to the accessories. Even V2.0 old heat shrink ECU will take a Li-Po, but the low battery warning is set at a Nicad level only.
