Michigan Jet Pilot's Boondoggle
The MI Jet Pilot's Boondoggle is a go for August 6-8. We have a 3800' asphalt runway with two RC Ramps and a 400' long asphalt pit row. Come fly with the sun to your back all day. We have a 40 x 60' storage tent for overnight storage. We have a Pilots' dinner/cookout scheduled for Friday evening. The $35 pilot's fee includes the storage tent and dinner. We typically see 35-45 pilots, so there is very little if any wait to get in the air. We have already conducted three 2020 large events w/o contracting or passing on the virus. We do take several preemptive precautions to ensure everyone's health. So, ... I think we have the health precautions figured out. If you are sick, stay home and build a new jet! Otherwise, come on up to Lake County and join the fun with the jets that have just sitting in your trailer waiting for an event!

Below is a page of our sponsors. The best motels are listed on it (i.e. Baldwin Creek Lodge and Outdoor Inn) There are others. But these are the two that consistently help support our events! If they get booked, let me know and I'll get some more contact info on here.
Oh, ... I forgot to mention the Pilots' Raffle. For each flight, pilots get a raffle ticket. Saturday afternoon we draw the tickets until all the prizes are gone off the tables. Again, this year we have many prizes donated by our really supportive sponsors! Typically everyone goes home with several items from the tables.
