Default New Event Alert! Cactus Jets! 🌵 🛩 🌵

Event Announcement:
Sun Valley’s first annual Cactus Jets!

Where: Phoenix, Az: Sun Valley Fliers Field
When: November 6-8

Hello All!
I am excited to announce the inaugural Cactus Jets Event! The Sun Valley Fliers field in North Phoenix just had the runway repaved and the covered pit area expanded. This is the same great venue that hosts Tony Quist’s Winter Warbirds event. Come out and enjoy our beautiful weather and beautiful field!!

Our flawless runway is over 600’ feet long, several hundred feet of overrun on each side of runway, covered pit area, plenty of parking and dry RV camping available. Electricity available in the pit area and no trees or obstacles at our flying site. It’s a great place to fly Jets!

Event notes:
Event starts Friday but feel free to come earlier and fly with us during the week.
$50 landing fee
400’ maximum altitude (we are 5
Miles from America’s busiest GA airport)
Raffle Prizes
50/50
Trophies/Awards
Turbines and Large Edf’s only (100mm+)

CD: Spencer Kleinhans
Registration Form and event flyer coming soon!

That's the same time as Lodi or I'd come down from Reno.

Agreed, just not doable with a jet.

Funny we do it every week at SVF which probably has more turbine pilots than just about any field in the country. just no unlimited vertical lines and no smoke up high. It works out just fine

I went to LA jets a long time ago and it had a 400 ft ceiling. Did I have fun? Yeah, I did. Would I go again? Maybe.

I just like Smokey Smokey and biiiiigggg loops!
