Four days out and the weather forecast is looking stellar...low winds, lots of blue sky's, looking forward to seeing everyone.
I spent the day Friday cutting the set up area, we are ready for some jet flying.

Talking

Another great day at Titusville, flying relaxing and a full scale visitor Major Woody, needed another warm up for the event, besides needed to inspect the grass cutting from Rich, he gets a passing grade A- also a couple pictures from yesterdays early frost and blue skies. Lets hope the current forecast holds and there will be lots more flying for the event.

Quick update, turnout was rather low, we had 12 registered pilots, the weather was fantastic for this time of year, Thursday and Friday the wind was non existent Saturday we might of had 12 MPG gusts straight down the run way, prefect flying weather! Hopefully some of the guys will post photos, I will be posting some later tonight.

It was a small turnout but there was lots of great flying for those who made the trip, weather was perfect for flying on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with jets in the air all day. We had a great Titusville community turnout on Saturday with lots of questions and many excited kids, asking when we would be back.

Would like to say a special thanks to the City of Titusville for allowing the Oil Creek Flyers to have events at this amazing venue as we look forward to many more events and what will be a repaved runway for next year.

Would also like to say thanks to Dave Wheeler for doing all the heavy lifting to make the Friday night fire possible, had lots of past stories and good laughs.

Yes Robert, the city of Titusville and the Airport advisory board are awesome, I would venture to say this is the best and most welcoming venue in the USA...
They are so PRO aviation, no mater if it is full scale or models, they recognize the need for community involvement.

No problem, we enjoy doing that for the group ! We had a great time ! It was great to see some friends we haven't seen in a few years and I always enjoy flying with all of you. I am very proud of my grandson Ben who did 5 complete flights on the T-One.
