I fly in Denver. DA is a huge thing. We lose about 19% power and the control surfaces have less bite.

Don't be mad at me.

My wife and I went to the Greater Southwest Jet Rally at Bomber Field near Houston this weekend. There were 2 Rebel Pros there, both flew exceptionally well. Then....I saw a Rebel Max. I've not seen one in real life before. OMG! Dude had a Kingtech 235G4 in it and it flew amazing. The size of the beast is unreal. (Honestly, I was surprised at how big the Pro was to begin with. It's not a small bird.)

I called Mike from CARF and he hadn't shipped my Infinity Pro yet so I asked if I could switch. He let me. So, I'm getting the Max in the orange Infinity scheme now and I'm still going to fly it on the 235. The reason I'm letting y'all know is because there is now one unspoken for Infinity Orange Pro available at CARF USA right now. I know someone will want it. Contact Mike McConville if you are interested. I cannot wait to get this thing.

There is a worldwide shortage of sea containers and everyone is having a difficult time getting their product to market, plus the sea cantainers prices have tripled now from prior to Covid

I'm ordering a Rebel Pro in Cayman scheme with neon yellow is being constructed by douth if I see it before Feb.

That Max for me is too large plus it's 10 pounds heavier than the Rebel Pro.

They probably lost the container in the shipping port.

Sorry to hear of your hardships with getting your plane

I agree with Aerosheldon, test on engine thrust here is 15% less than Sealevel so a 240 -250 engine should yield 204 - 212Newtons.

Too bad they don't have it on the website, I only saw it from Mike had a photo of one which sealed the deal.

This air density thing is a big concern, I was flying at 1800' at 100f and one on our pilots said it was like flying at 5100 with high temps.

My buddy here in Texas just got a Hot and a Classic that was on the container yesterday. My Max should be shipped from CARF USA this week.

Very Cool Joe, now that there is two in the hanger, the trailer will be next, LOL. Look forward to seeing it fly in the spring since the flying season is getting short up in the NE.

Hey guys, I’m almost ready to balance my Rebel pro, what method are you using to balance? Electronic, hanging from a rope or a balancer like the ez balancer Dreamworks sell?

I know this is the Rebel Pro Topic but I saw that people were mentioning the cayman scheme and I just received my Rebel Classic 2M in the Cayman Orange scheme. It was well worth the wait

So this is my Cayman scheme on the Viper similar to the Rebel, has those lighten bolt on the vertical and wingtip.

My club mates have balanced their Rebel Classics with the help of a template that fits over the wing tube and anti rotating pin.
They marked and put 2 or 3 holes in the area where the C/G is recommended and they use a rope to lift the aircraft.
This way it’s very easy to determine if the Rebel has the correct C/G.

I think this method should also work for the Rebel Pro.
