Default Where to buy Nano Jet in UK

Hi all,

After a break from Jet flying for several years I am considering coming back next year when hopefully the whole Covid thing is over.
I started Jet flying on a Boomerang Nano Jet and would love to buy one again but I can’t find any place to buy it.

Does anyone know where I can buy a Nano Jet at the moment in the UK?

thanks for any advice, appreciated as usual.

Ulrich

Boomerang inventory seems to come and go, you may find one second hand. Staring over I may look at the xcalibur, with all of the different sizes, it seems to be a step above in refinement all around.

Hi Patrick,

thanks for that.
I had a look at the xcalibur Jet, too but it seems that this Jet is sold out everywhere, too.
Is it because of Covid or why have manufacturers stopped producing Jets? 🤔

Boomerang has been in and out with different owners so it seems a production run is made, sold and then its over to a new group. The rest I blame Covid, folks have a little more time in the house these days. i know i have been able to get a few things done! Dave W should be able to help if there is anything about

As far as I know and aside who produces them at every moment -as very correctly Patrick explains- brand owner and distributor for Europe is Ripmax, but they seem to be out of stock of both Boomerangs and Xcalibur from several months ago.

Sure Mr. Wilshere from Motors and Rotors would give you a more precise account on the current situation of these jet models.

As it has been said above, if you are competent with the Nano the Xcalibur would be a great way forward when available.

Another avenue is the BMFA Classifieds the Nano and Xcalibur both come up from time to time.

Neither are available at this time, the factories were heavily affected by C-19, also sales had slowed, so investing in containers of slow moving kits was not the way forward.
Now with balsa supply and cost it might be a long wait. There are lots out there, I guess even un started kits.
