Condolences to the family, met him first almost 20 years ago at TopGun and he was always larger than life.

Did a lot for the industry.

Please convey my condolences to Frank's family - met him with Bob Violet at TopGun in the late 90's. Fantastic organiser with great vision and understanding of what we all love.

That's weird, I first met BV the same time I met Frank. Picked up one of the new full composite f-100, it was early 2001.

Regards,

A most depressed hobby, the passing of Mr. Tiano and Mr. Violett in USA -as well as other references over the world- together with very strict new rules governing R/C flying... I am afraid we are at the end of modelling!

My most sincere condolences to the Tiano family and friends!

Best Regards,

Best Regards,
Yes, we have lost some really terrific members of the RC community lately, not only Frank and BV, but also Andy Kane and others. They dedicated a large part of their lives to the hobby and I'm sure that none of them would want us to stop after their loss.

I don't know about Spain, but here in the U.S., the new rules are not having a significant effect on our ability to operate as usual and the hobby is fine...

Bob

Was very sad to hear of the loss of frank. One of the most exciting things that happened to me in this hobby was when I got my first Top Gun invite. He will be missed.
