I really hope that they will start doing something with twice the power, in the range 220-260 size stuff this will be something to spend money on.

Haha the joker is going to shift with a 120 :-) it’s not exactly slow with a 100. Let us know what it’s like. 👍

Current Xicoy motors are smaller than similar thrust motors, if was a betting man I would say the larger motors will follow this same trend. That being said im the last to know so im sure someone will post something on it.
Here is an example of the new 90 vs an older 90

Is there any feedback on how theseXicoy turbines perform at the higher altitudes? So where talking 5500ft+ and when you factor in density altitudes during the summer time could could be around close to 8000ft.
My experience has been turbines that have a larger compressor area seem to preform better at the high alts, not just in thrust but are more reliable, does Xicoy have any data /feedback from testing in this area?

i have gone through the software on the new X turbines... In the Start menu you have an option for use of Diesel or Kerosene.. there is a slight delay in initial startup when using diesel.... In the Run menu where before you had a few options for “Acceleration” and “Deceleration” such as Very Fast, Fast, Normal..etc... new software has an “Auto” feature for both Accel and Decel...

I am sure “Auto” will take care of altitude when you are not at “STP”...

Also other goodies from Xicoy is on the way so stand by....

The X120 was a drop in replacement for M100XBL... I have not seen the X90.. but I would be guessing drop in replacement for M70XBL
