Default Jetcat P250 Pro absurdly quick startup

How is such a radical change in model jet turbine startup time possible compared to what we are used to? 12 seconds from zero to idle is nuts!
I do understand they use different type of ignition method but how does it all impact the life of the engine (being heated up almost instantly)?

It’s like Gas start!
If the fuel pump is pumping then lube is getting through the bearings, the rest is in the clearance expansion rate.

Did the engine survive?

Any research or experiences on how this may affect engine life?

Quick startup doesnt make a reliable engine. I am excited to see long time performance on this one....

Dont worry , many military engines with cartridge or Avpin start , eg Rolls Royce Avon, were quicker than that, didnít bother them !

Default Fast?

Sorry don't have latest Video. It now does 6 seconds and lower EGT with better combustion.
400N 7 seconds.
Using 3 cell LiFe, LiPo is a lot faster but you know.. LiPos...
Hot parts don't get chance to overheat and bearings get lube faster.
