Thats kingtech inside in your last 3 videos...you wrote it in description,
topic is about xicoy?
Didnt wanna go OT so posted my kingtech video below(2 days ago) in kingtech topic, but if x45 gets removed from title of this topic, then all turbine conversions could go in for less clutter? Just an idea.
Keep vids comin'

Thanks.
back to topic(now since all turbines are in same Avanti thread),
Works really great, with almost 2:1 thrust ratio,
Being a foamie its also a floater
landings have to be forced down in contrast to composite ones with higher wingloading
But during 2 full circles around me it maintained over 3G load at 1/2 throttle (5m.8s in video)
And also non agressive vertical pull at 1/2 thr resulted in 4.3G (5m.40s in video)
A thing to watch out for, I believe there could be a confetti shower if someone pulls it at WOT, or even in level flight if left WOT for few seconds too long...

I'm a big fan of foamie conversions but I have said these exact words many times about the possibility of pushing the foam airframe and servos too hard with a turbine. I've done several conversions and had a great experience but you must respect the airframe and servo limits. My personal rule is fly it no faster and harder than the EDF version. My first few conversions I flew with EDF for a while before they were turbine powered. I had a speed sensor in the EDFs and kept the speed near the same limits with the turbine. Still lots of fun, much better vertical performance, 3 times the EDF flight times, but not stressing the airframe or servos any more than with EDF. Just my way of doing it.
Nice job on the Avanti!

wind was so strong no one else showed up,
but now I know that pilot ejection system works like it should and gyro flew circles by itself and landed the plane without the pilot onboard
pilot was rescued and he was ok,
