Hi guys,
Need some help from all our UK, EU friends.
Need to ship 2 Turbines from Germany to my sisters residence address in the UK, any idea if I need to pay any additional taxes or duties for personal goods on arrival?
Regards Chatty

It's definitely possible UK customs will catch your parcel and treat it as a import and add fee's, new or second hand it has a value as far as they are concerned.

It depends on whether you are permanently or temporarily importing goods to UK.
if temporary you will not have to pay taxes as long as you don’t exceed the time allowed.

Good luck! Although the government have done a brilliant job of covering up the import mess with C-19 news, they ave massively dropped the ball and the process is far from straightforward. Commodity codes need using to avoid duty (and hold ups) VAT is normally the only cost on RC stuff at this time. If the turbine is over a certain thrust it’s no longer seen as hobby.
Many shipping companies won’t even ship to Germany at the moment because of the huge back log from a complicate paper work system, the stuff coming in that took 3 days now takes 7-14 days on the same service.
