LOL, "good weather" is when the stars align and there are no house projects, doctor appointments, honey doo's, grandkid events, buddies available etc, etc, oh and did I mention geriatric weather, above 50, and no wind. The days of warming my fingers with the car heater before flying are long gone!

Mike informed me that the factory is now back to work after New Year break and are starting my build. I confirmed with him that the scheme I posted above is available, so I'm getting that. I'm also having them make the speed brakes functional. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get here. If it arrives by May/June that would be fine as summer is build season for me for the most part (too hot and humid). This will give me time to do a thoroughly documented build.

I saw that on FB as well and posted that I had this on order from Global Jet Club. He replied that this is not the same jet, it's made by Air Knight, not Global Knight. Claims it's from different molds. Everything I saw seems to make it look like the same plane. Only difference I found was that this one has lights.

The strange thing in the FB post is where this jet is said not a Global Knight product but from Air Knight. The post says it "uses different molds and has enhanced interior parts, maximized interior, better geometry of the control surfaces" and some other stuff. The video gave some great close up shots and I looked at it twice. The main difference from my V1 from the outside is the direct drive rudder servo. Otherwise the panel lines, rivets, hatches, doors, gear, and canopy look identical to include the upward pointed missile rails. The hard tape paint lines between the grey shades and the funny gold color on the nozzle are identical. So to me it looks like the same jet with some upgrades. Maybe it is a V2 under a different marketing name. Anyway I still love the jet, it flies great, and looks really cool and unique.
Best of luck with it!

Well, Global Jet Club says it's a Global Knight F-16XL. But the guy on FB says his is an Air Knight F-16XL and they come from different molds. The only difference I could find was that the Air Knight has nav lights, whereas all the ones I've seen from Global Knight have no lights. However, Mike informed me yesterday that I can get nav lights added to my kit, so I told him to include them. Based on this, I'm going to say they are both the same.
