You likely need a local person that knows the specific gyro you will use to help you. So select something with local support.

I use Powerbox gyros because I love their implementation of heading hold for airplanes.

Is the cortex pro compatible with the mew JR radios?

Absolutely. In fact it is the preferred Gyro for many JR team pilots.
