eazyp:

Great looking birds you are bringing back, I’m considering a Predator, by the time I first got interested on one, CAI was already out of business, so your offering could be my chance to get one.

I see you are using red filler on your fiberglass prep for finishing, is it the “old” one part filler that does not cure or is it a new two part product? I ask because whenever I used the red filler on my builds in the past, if would soften with the primer and paint ruining the finish, I then switched to the light blue two part filler that cures solid and sands smooth and will not seep through the finish, just curious

These fillers have different uses the red filler is for very minor imperfections. In most cases when wet sanded it can be painted right over. In any case a bigger imperfection most likely would require a two part filler that would need to be primed to achieve a good finish. Now this is just the way I like to do it. I’m sure guys have different ways and mean’s.

What you figure the turbine size is going to be? Looking maybe a 160-ish?

and, is it just me, or is that flap servo hatch really big? Lol

Yes the panther can fly from 120/160 I have a p160 sitting off to the side for it . That’s flap hatch/cover also houses the wing folding gear.

Default Razor

Well razor is up and running fitted with a k 80 . Waiting on a set of sample electron gear to come in. It weighs 17 lbs. empty without gear. Should come in around 18 lbs and some change. Video of all test flights soon.
