Thanks Kevin [email protected] Ledd where have you been ? everything is exspensive. my view is either you can or you cant . pretty simple right ? On another note .got the Predator and the Raptor out to the field . All is well with the Predator, flight went pretty good but lost a tire one the first flight. the Raptor didnt go so well as the CG is off . didnt do any video as they were maiden flights. working on the f100 and should have it ready to go soon.

Thats exactly why im bringing these planes back to market. I can get these out the door in three weeks unless were doing a custom build or something along those lines. im keeping stock on them. im just taking the three weeks for any problems that may arrive in the qc etc . shipping is what it is unless someone wants to pick it up. at least its an option.

My Feedback: (22)

I still fly my raptor at the factory CG and have no issues. I do remember though that the raptor had a pretty bad incidence and airfoil problem in the stab. A lot of body filler was used to correct that. I thought the molds got changed eventually to fix that issue but maybe not. I'd check the incidence of the stab.

You need to be cautious with the cg on these jets. That center tank is a long long ways ahead of the cg. They take off very nose heavy. I plumbed my tanks to empty the center into the saddle tanks so the jet isn't nose heavy on landing.

no no problem with the raptor stab mold. it was a early version of the razor that had that problem . they did fix it at some point. I have the molds. they definitely come out nose heavy. biggest part of the problem is how the fuel system is set up. it a relatively easy fix. trust me both the Predator and the raptor were set up per the original cg from the instructions and both were grossly nose heavy in the end. also one has to keep in mid that cai had revisions on these planes. and we started with hearsay information to get started an whatever paperwork we could find from the r/c community . and thats been very limited.

Gordon McConnel built the raptor I have, I know there is a ton of body filler in this stab to correct incidence and fitment issues as he told me and when I repainted it I was very careful not to alter the shape when I stripped it. My razor had a twisted stab, took a ton of aileron to fly straight. I know there were many revisions, I'll check my cg when I have my raptor or next though the way work and weather are that likely won't be for quite some time.

The f100 is pretty much done with fitting and programming the radio . I fitted a p 200 which was extremely tight. Ran the turbine for the first time last night and all is well . No hot spots. Will make some adjustments on some things and finish the installation of the electronics for some . Taxi testing and a flight report soon .
