Default Michigan Jet Pilot's Boondoggle 2021

Below is the flier for Michigan Jet Pilot’s Boondoggle. Please note that this year we have moved the event back a weekend to minimize conflicts with other jet events in the Midwest. For this event, we typically draw ~35 jet pilots with over 75 remote controlled jets onsite. The free Pilot’s Dinner (Friday evening) and onsite plane storage is included in the pilot’s landing fee. The daily onsite beverage and food service has proven to be excellent! Come fly off our 3800’ asphalt runway with the sun to your back all day! Back your trailer right up to our 400’ asphalt pit row, and use our overnight storage facilities.

The Baldwin RC Park is located on the Baldwin Municipal Airport ~ 1 mile south of Baldwin on M-37. On the attached page is the contact information for our sponsoring motels. If you are planning to stay in one of our local motels, you may want to consider getting your reservation as soon as possible as we typically fully book most of our sponsoring motels. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me at (907) 903-3569 of [email protected].

Below is the contact information for our sponsoring motels. If they are already booked, please feel free to contact me.

There are several others in town. But I always provide my sponsors' info first.

This is coming this weekend. Several folks are apparently coming in a day early. Of course we always have several folks stay over and extra day too. Pilot's dinner is 6:30 P.M. on Friday.

We typically see 35-40 pilots for this event. Given that we moved the event back a week to avoid the conflict we had with Super Jets, who knows what impact the move may have. Given the reasonable weather forecast, we could see a few more. However, if you want motel reservations you had better start calling now. We typically book up most of the close motels way in advance.
