Default Vampire DH-100 Kerry Sterner 1/4 scale building pics

Hi everyone,

I'm building a 1/4 scale Vampire DH-100 from K. Sterner this winter.
I will post some pictures of the build in the coming months.
With best regards,
Cesar.

The first foil is on. I have chosen the "Matt series" from Oracover.

I also moved the dividing seam of the wing closer to the fuselage.
If you build according to the drawing you will get a hull width of 1.75 mtr. That is impossible to transport in a European station wagon

New dividing seam gives a hull width of 90cm.

beautiful work, I love how you mounted the servos flat in the wings and tail. I hadn't thought of that method when it's not possible to get to the screws.

Hello,
You have some great ideas there, removable booms, and making the inner wing section smaller so it fits into a SUV. I wish I would have thought of that, I hope I can get mine out of the basement.I am going to have to buy a trailer or a van to transport it.
Check mine out at " New 1/4 scale build started. On this forum

Hi George,

The dry weight of the 1/5 scale was aprox 11,5 kg.
