Hey Carlos
Ready to send you the books Dave and I used on the Sea Vixen. No need to spend that kind of money when I have the same book I sent Dave sitting here waiting for me to get to the detail needed. I can send you the book, you can go Xerox copies of the pages you need and send the book back to me. You have my email address, use it to send me your snail mail address. Hope you and all the readers of this thread had a good turkey day. Chic

Ok, moving forward.
I will be needing a wing spar with it's socket, needs to be 7/8"X 38" at least, the tube/socket have to be super tight, can't be loose, the plan indicates to cut two spars at 17.5 long, because the two spars are short any play will be augmented at the tips.
Any suggestions where I can get a nice tight ( carbon fiber or aluminum spar with it's socket )
I know Ziroli and T n T hear have them.
Tks.

The short kit will be on its way soon to arrive home sometime next week, this kit was cut in the UK by Belair, my friend Nick got the STL files from Dave B. and he started to 3D print the parts for the build, I've asked him to print two sets for now.
I will make time to review the plans and the instructions tonight and tomorrow, with this, I will enhance the wood list, I'm also considering to do the detachable booms/stab step.
The 7/8" CF wing tube to be ordered from Gator RC tonight.
Baby steps for now, work is killing me this month as is every year in the month of Dec.

In preparation for the build, I've been talking to Dave B. about his build and anything that he may have encountered during the build that I should know, there are a few things that I will talk about during the build ( airbrake build etc. )
I got a CF spar coming from Gator RC sometime next week, I also have coming next week the FG parts the Dave B. made me for the SV build.
Slowly but surely parts are coming my way.

The parts are sure coming, but there is absolutely no time to do anything right now, too busy at work and too cold in the garage but, soon, soon.
Dave B. from the UK was nice enough to offer me to make these FG parts that he used on his build, thank you Dave.
Also, I got the laser cut short kit from Paul cut by Belair, more coming from him soon, thank you Paul.
And also got the CF spar tube and socket from Gator RC, very tight fit, just what I was looking for.

Can't believe how large this airframe is becoming. The top and bottom of the fuse has finally been fiberglassed. Needless to say, there is a huge amount of sanding to be done. Standing between the tailbooms has made reaching alot of the areas easy. Shirley came out to the shop and saw me there and decided to take the picture. She thought it was funny. Right, I'll deal with her later. Happy Valentines Day. Back to sanding. Chic

Would any of you gents be kind enough per chance to post a couple of photos of the specialty made two 30 oz Wing tanks pretty please?
Am in discussion with Gary Mueller from JetTechUSA and he can't find the foam molds of the ones he made a prior customer so we sort of have to re-invent the wheel and he asked if I could maybe send him some photos and ultimately I may need to go into the wings (once constructed lol) and make foam templates to send to him.
Any help would be mightily appreciated, Thanks all and God Bless.

A friend of mine gave me this P120 today, it eat a stone at the Tucson jet meet, it will need a new compressor and bearings, I'm planning to use this engine on the SV, 27 lbs of trust should be more than sufficient to fly this bird.
