Perhaps you have a mechanical issue. I'd check the insides of the wheels to see why there is a difference.

I have own a few set of these….that’s the way they work…not the best for sure, a different controller was my solution…but even then still not perfect but a little better for sure.

I had this same issue with my Avanti XS. I have since installed an Assan AG63 Steering/Brake gyro and now it steers and brakes straight ahead.

I replaced my controller with a xicoy lgc15. You can adjust individual brake power in that controller.

JP makes an adjustable brake controller where you can individually fine tune each brake manually. If you want a completely automatic setup the AG63 is hard to beat.

Assan others the AG68 which is the Gear Controller, brake and steering gyro all in one too.

Bought AG63, was under impression it takes care of uneven braking/locking...
but all it does over standard JP one is gyro the nose wheel.
And it even does it when retracted and wheel keeps steering in air.

No brakes pulsing or tied to gyro.

I had nose gear on gyro via Jeti assist already and even disengaged steering/gyro once retracted up, so it stands still and centered in wheel bay.

Does your AG63s work something with brakes balancing or also ony nose steering?
Thanks

when the AG63 or 68 is correctly setup the nose gear centers and turns off when retracted. In my joker the model would always go left or right with full braking AG63 solved that issue. The AG68 in my L39 eliminated the same, so how ever it does it, Im happy!

Thanks, well I will have to double check that,
it does turn input from stick to off, but gyro keeps steering the wheel in wheel bay when retracted,
did you check yours by moving the controller itself or whole plane if you cannot take it out easily?

New one is nicer because it incorporates retract controller too but still no good for door equiped jets where JP still has to be used for that, and retract function of ag68 can not be used because doors will not activate until JP drives retracts and senses amp rise(engages cutoff)

I have JP120 for retract and doors, and re-plugged brakes and steering to AG63. So upgrade to new one would make no sense, still would have to use JP for retracts and doors on MB339.
Maybe in 2022 assan bring us next one with door function so we can ditch JP one totally

Not a controller issue but it's JP Electric Retracts...

Does anybody know how to open this JP gear motor housing to resolder the wires back onto the motor contacts?

I've got three of these in use in my foamy turbine conversions and they work great.

I am putting an AG68 in my jet and the nosewheel turns opposite. I tried the reset initialization and it didn't change anything.
Holding full right rudder while the lights blinked on and off rapidly.
Any hints for me please?
Thanks, hal

Reverse the nose wheel in your tx then if it compensates the wrong direction do the learn process.

Okay before you can do any thing you have to make sure the Unit is recognizing the gear down position?
the blue light is solid when the gear is down.
