Yes it does indeed. I have a CB400, the Electron GS200pro (running Er-50NG retracts), CortexPro and a bit more all installed under the front hatch. With my 3D printed cockpit/pilot/ weighing more than the one Carf offers, a have now added 900+ grams in the tail.

No 25kg limit in my country (150kg is the limit for model airplanes).

Batteries will be at the back of the bottom tray, together with the UAT / pump / ECU.

I’ve spent the weekend working on the AB ring. I really don’t get Unilight with ‘kits for s specific models yet there is not enough cable supplied to do the job. Anyway having wasted too much time sourcing wire I extended the AB cables to allow me to place the controller in the rear fuselage. It saves more connections coming through the joint, I may even find a place for the battery back there. The turbine tailcone is behind this area so heat should not be an issue.
I routed the cables so I can keep the tail control wires away from the AB cables.
Connection to the AB rings is an 8 pin MPX type

No! But there maybe time it’s needed and the minimum number of connections without having a single point of failure is my normal way.

Back end is now wired. 3x Powerbox One4Two MPX leads. One each side for Elevator/Airbrake and one for Rudder/tail light.
Individual connections in the fin so no single point of failure. The elevator cables on opposite sides reduces the chance of anything taking out both!

Mounting a JetCat P-220Rxi requires 6mm packers and the mounting plate notches filling in. I used 6mm carbon laminated ply for both.

Working on wing wiring loom and starting to think about the canopy.
Using Powerbox leads throughout. 1131 One4Three to do the Aileron, Flap and Gear door servos. Then a combination to do gear and lights.
I’m not normally a snake skin sleeve person but where the lead goes down the leading edge it goes through carbon faced rib cutouts, so this was done to protect the wires.

Canopy frame prepared (Dremel all high spots) and painted grey ready for glass.

My wing connection system is hard mounted fuselage connectors and ‘floating’ wing. To ensure the connector clears the root rib structure I cover the root with masking tape, cut out the openings and using the spar as a reference transfer to the fuselage

Finally finished the modified landing light, it was probably not worth the huge effort!

Yes, I’m happy enough with the result. There is a little more detail to add to the lens edge.

Started fitting the glass so I can get on with the cockpit. Front section glass cut into 3 so I could get a perfect fit.
I use magnetics and this little trick if you have ever handled these super strong magnets. Placing in pairs either side of a piece of wood they are easy to remove for placement.

I guess i need to get mine done. Its been sitting in the same place almost from the time it arrived. I have done a bit of work to the cockpit. I took some parks for the extra Flytechniques Mig15 and added them to this cockpit. I find this one to be a bit sparse for the cost.
Also has anyone looked at adding smoke to the plane. I still trying to figure out where to put it.

Had to adjust to fit the MiG-17 canopy

Scale harness for the MIG

Latches in place. They still need to be weathered a bit.

Still need to finish out the top of the canopy around the mirror.

Hi Dave,

What AB ring settings did you go with? After some testing, I've elected to keep Mode 1, Option 1 with the rings connected in parallel (Diagram Connection 3). I connected the uniLight module to an AUX channel and set the travel range so that the light comes on at the upper portion of the throttle curve (from ~3/4 to full). Let me know, thanks!

I can’t remember, I played around with the two options. Will look in am which I went with! If you can find Motors & Rotors on Instagram there is a video of it in operation!

Andreas warned me the cockpit would take a while to install, he was not wrong! There is a lot of test and trim.
I realised too late that leaving the front side glass out until the canopy slides were mounted would have made life easier☺️
You can see how the track pulls the front down as the canopy finally closes. Getting the cockpit tub to seat under the top deck so the canopy shut line is consistent needs a little cleaning up of the rear tub shape.

Canopy opening complete, it’s very satisfying when you operate it the first time. The large headed screw hooks the back of the canopy when it’s closed, this screw also limits the opening as it catches the canopy front drive mounting plate.

I haven't checked this thread in a while... I like the cockpit detail - wow - pretty cool!
I've seen 3 of these flying this year so far- Mississippi Jets, and Top Gun. They all flew great!!

Maybe use a flashlight at a distance to illuminate the area then augment with phone flash.
