Duralite flight system
#9

I’ve enjoyed using the Duralite batteries since 2007. I was looking for them, just today and came to the realization they are out of business. Wherever you may find them moving forward, keep in mind, there’s no warranty as the vendors that may still have any can’t go back to Duralite. Fromeco has a very good product in the lithium ion 2s packs. A couple of my IMAC flying friends have been using them for years. I’m sure there are others out there but it’s a suggestion. Good luck.

https://rcbattery.com/ one of the electric guys at our field swears by this place. He said it was the hobby king battery guy that went off on his own and is very careful about quality.

If you’re after 7.2V receiver batteries then take a look at the Jeti Model batteries. They offer a range of 2S2P Li-Ion batteries and they come supplied with an MPX connector and separate charge lead.

My Feedback: (21)

Being a Duralite battery user from my very first jet and being very satisfied with the quality of there battery it is to bad that they are gone. I have to ask does anyone know of a manufacture that has the same internal balance feature that was offered by Duralite?
Thanks,
Robert

Advanced Radio/Booma RC have a similar product.
Check the link for add-on balancing circuits. While they claim that they are made “specifically” for a particular version of their own batts, I have found in limited testing that they balance my LIFE’s which I purchased elsewhere. Seems to me these are pretty much the same as Duralite used to do (I was also a huge Duralite fan!) except that Duralite put the circuit inside the pack’s shrink wrap and these are add-ons. In my one and only jet using these thus far, I simply plugged them into the balance port and, rather than having the circuit dangling or flopping around I attached it to the battery pack with a dab of hot glue.

EDIT: Here also is the page for their batteries with add-on balancing circuits as a mere $5 option.

AND this page with what appears to be L-ion batts with state-of-charge circuit built in
