Default We lost another modeler today

I'm sad to share that Gus Hudson passed away this afternoon while at the model field.
He was a long time modeler and great friend.
He will be missed.

This was taken on Saturday at the 40th Greater Southwest Jet Rally.
Gus was CD of the Greater Southwest for a couple of years

May God bless my brother Gus. We met at the Byron bash in 1985 and have been the best of friends since then. My heart is broken.

Cheryl and I send our condolences to TonaSue, Frank, Amy, Hudson and the thousands of people whose lives were touched by Gus.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I’m so glad we got to go to Waco last weekend and do what we loved…

It is tough currently, but with his health as it was, it’s now a peaceful feeling knowing that his health is fully restored.

For those who would like to attend the services, here are the details. Visitation: Sunday @ 1:00PM

Funeral: Sunday @ 2:00PM

Location: First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs - Spence Chapel.

I’m lieu of flowers, we are politely requesting donations be made to the following organizations:

American Diabetes Association

American Heart Association

That's a real shame. Gus flew at Elk City OK with us several times. First flying formation with a Christian Eagle and then switched to the jet. He and Tom put on a great show and both were willing to share their time and knowledge.

Rest in Peace Sir!!!

David
