I already did a few videos, I will get things rolling tomorrow. I will start a separate thread with my usual “the good, the bad and the ugly”.

There is no noticeable play, both tubes fit the wings fine. Slid in and out easy. I can move them laterally with no noticeable change. .01mm at most. With the wing bolt in there is no movement.

I’m missing the side cockpit panels.

Okay, mine has over 1/8 inch of play on the front tube and almost as much on the rear, this will have to be fixed since the wings will flutter if not. My tubes will fall out if you lean the model any they are so loose. Currently taking everything apart and going over it, taking videos and pictures of everything.
thanks for the information

I just put mine up for sale on the RCgroups.

My classic car decided to blow out the clutch. I waited so long for this jet that I almost forgot about it. So trading toy money for toy money.

I did get some info on the CG, I was told it starts at the Dog tooth. Which is directly across from the wing bolt. And as much up elevator as possible.

I don’t suppose you can provide the length and height of your fuselage missile rails? Mine are smaller that they mounting points on the missiles
maybe a length of the missile as well.
did yours come with anything that connects to the quick release arms on the stabs? Once the pipe in it needs some kind of arm on it to push the lollipop mechanism.
thanks

The rails are correct but the sidewinders are from the A-10 kit. I just split the difference and drilled my own holes in the sidewinder and mounted it.

The elevator “lock” can be pushed in with a screwdriver from the back after the pipe is in. I had to lightly sand the pin to get the lock to automatically “spring back”

No, there is no extension in the kit to have the lock come out the back. There are two holes that a rod could be attached to.

pipe/motor/fuselage attachment is a little bit of pain. Having the fuel tank out helps.

So I have another update on CG and some controls

28cm to 28.5cm from the leading eadge
Full flap is no more than 45°
Elevator is as much as elevator as possible

Barry Hou called about my missing cockpit side which I did not expect but greatly appreciated. I asked about the front gear sitting very low with no real spring to it. He informed me the will take a look at.

did get a flight report and it’s said to be predictable and smooth.

I do have mine for sale but might end up keeping it. The Delorean can wait :-)

Yeah that's the same information I got, the flaps only go so low with the wing tanks on the. The real wing tanks didn't have a top fin for this reason and if the 45 hits the fin I will just cut it off. I highly suggest you go over all the servos, specifically the stab servos I pulled everything out of mine and redoing a lot of things.
if you look in the nose you are probably missing the equipment tray as well, you can see the mount for it below the cockpit.

Have you seen the Griplock Ties? Less chance of cutting into the wiring

I have, I don’t think they make the tiny ones like that plus my lace tape has been a great thing and typically what I use in my models.

It's on Pacificjet's webpage as A7E-015 AC Brown Camo 00 (USS JOHN F KENEDY)

If you google that images come up.

Also I bought QcSteve's A7 so hoping at some point over the summer to get it ready for flying.
