Default Jet tronic single action brake valve leaking!!

Hello,

I have a jet tronic single action brake valve which was working properly. the jet has been sitting for a couple of years and while checking again system yesterday found out that when i apply brakes the valve bleads the air instantly. on the other hand it holds the air while in off position. also note that i have a restrictor installed on port(3).

Any help solving this leakage would be appreciated.
Rgds

First thing I would try is put forceps on the lines at the brake drums. If the leak stops you have a o ring problem at the drum. If it is leaking at the valve you could try some thin lube or just replace the valve. Dan

Dan,

In fact, this is exactly what i ended up doing. the valve is working flawlessly and problem came from brake O ring which had dried out somehow over time. Removed it and lubed it, got it back in place and everything is working out smoothly.

Thank you very much for your input.
