RE: Winamac Jets Over the Heartland (2004) Pictures
HI all, I would like to thank Tim and Tracy Redelman, the Winamac Aeromodelers and Ralf Braun for for putting on a fabulus show this past weekend. I enjoyed seeing the best pilots in the world flying , especialy the boys from BVM. I had a wonderful meal and even received a prize Saturday night and then got to see some spectacular fireworks.
See you next year.

RE: Winamac Jets Over the Heartland (2004) Pictures
Thanks to my brutha Tim, his Fabulous wife Tracy, yes Taylor too.... Ralf, and the rest of the Winamac crew for another great event! I had a fantastic time and would not miss the event for anything (except my own funeral!)
It was great to hang with all my AMT buddies, Francis, Larry and Vern, Scott Harris, and Ricco Sauve' (get back in the cage mang!)
I think the official crash count was 4 majors, and two banged up for a total of six. Overall with the number of flights still a small percentage. The wind was a direct (and strong) crosswind every day except Saturday. All together a very safe and well orchestrated event.

I had F-8 in my original post but i edited it to say a-7 because i noticed the navy and the twin fins. " i thought A-7's had 1 fin also but??" It looks like it would almost be a good 1st or 2nd turbine plane. Russ

Tim, U DA MAN!!!, thanks also to Tracy, Ralph, and all the local club menbers. I must say this trip was my favorite. Always cool meeting the regulars again, but that RICO, well all I can say is "BOOM"!!(you had to be there to understand this) and Keep the POWERMAX away from David.(although it was really a cool effect)LMAO.Heck even Jackson ,my teenage son wants to go to the next rally and he's never said that before! Francis, Larry , Vern, always a pleasure to hang out with you guys. Hope we can hook up in MO. Congrats to David Plain. He soloed his new BVM F86!!! "GET SOME PAINT ON THAT BIRD"
One last thing. If you haven't been to this flying site you are missing one of , If not the finest R/C flying sites in the country. It's well worth the trip!! Thanks again for a great time!

RE: Winamac Jets Over the Heartland
Mr. Redelman, first off I want to say I really enjoyed watching you fly your Phantom, and my family and I have been attending Jets over the heartland for the last 5 years. I have a question though, shortly after your last Phantom flight on Saturday afternoon, there were some demo flights of a heli, a B-29, and a 40%Edge 540. I know Don Albright's B-29, but who was the pilot of the Edge 540? That guy was pretty awsome. I'll be seeing you all next year.
P.S. The show AND the fireworks get better and better every year.

I had a great time! Thanks Tim! I especially enjoyed the fireworks displays, both of them....
Here is my unfinished lighted King Cat on landing. Thanks to Paul Hopkins for making my custom lights! More to come soon... Hey Paul, start working on a lighted dashboard for me.
William Jackson's DF Bandit.
Worlds meanest biker. (Seen on the ride home to florida)

Pictures now online at Radio Control Aircraft Gallery
Thank you Tim and Tracy for a great time. This was our first time attending this event, and we will most definately be back next year! The site is top notch. The after hours fun is excellent. The new friends made and old friends reaquainted is priceless.
Even though I lost my Cyclone (structural failure due to hidden damage from previous bad landing) I gained a Maverick. The fun continues. (By the way, I shut down the OS .91 as soon as I lost control. I guess I'm prepared for that aspect of turbine flying. )
See you at the next one,
...jim
PS. Tim, Tell Billy the cheque cleared. 1.362 to 1.00. A great deal. I'm happy!

WOW,this guy, Rod Snyder, is serious about his passion.

T1 after his F-4 trio demo with Francis and Dustin in the background.
Tim will be another participant in the WJM Qualifier.
DR, another party to the F-4 trio demo and may be participant in the Qualifier?

RE: Winamac Jets Over the Heartland
I've managed to get many of the photos I took loaded up on the web site. Just go to www.mvjs.com and look towards the bottom of the page. There are three links for pictures. Feel free to save a copy of the pictures, just don't do it for all of them :-)
