Default ARC D/C F-20 Not sure about Retracts

I'm not 100% sure about this but I think I was told by the people who put out the plane that the ARC version does not accomodate retracts.. Can someone confirm this?

It may not come with them, but they can be installed, I have a 40 size direct connection with spring airs and they look and work great!! A jet shouldnt have fixed gear! I can shoot you some pics if you need them to do the conversion, I think it is snaggs thats converting one right now.

Default Retracts

I have one built from a kit that has fixed gear. I had another kit that's still in the box. The one in the box is the one I got the retracts for. In short I had to have one the instance I saw it. I bought the kit, then found one for sale. So I got to fly the already built one this flying season and will build the kit with retracts this winter.

I did get Spring Air retracts for it. www.retracts.com. I bought the 302 kit for it. However, if you order retracts for it be sure to get the right nose gear mount for it. The 301 kit is a vertical mount like to a firewall, and the 302 kit is a horizontal mount for like mounting under a fuel tank floor.

When I called Direct Connection, they said you can't put retracts in it. However, I've seen 3 ARC D/C F-20's with retracts in them. So don't belive what they tell ya. John loves the ones he has.

Default Retracts

Well, If thats the case then I think I'm gonna take the plunge,
what kind of speed do you think I can get using a OS46FX,I kinda like the way that Macs one piece black muffler looks.. do you think thats a good combo,,although I know it wont be as good as a tuned pipe. it looks cool.

Default F-20

Click on profile below and send me an e-mail address where I can contact you directly. I'll send you some in-flight video and still pictures of mine. I should have some in-flight still pictures in a week or so. You can see how it flies with a Rossi .45 on it with a semi-tuned muffler.
