Default RE: SU-27 Sport Liebetrau Build Thread

Well 5 years on and this thread is still usefull. I have acquired one of these models from another modeller who lost the manual. I have no data for the control throws. Can anyone help with a copy manual or at least the control throws? Also is the stab zero incidence and where is the zero datumn point on the fuse for reference?
Many thanks.

Hey Chris, the ZModel SU-27 is a different kt than the Liebetrau one!

Yeah Sonnich, two MW-54s or P-60s etc. would be a perfect match. With paying some attention to the wheight, it should be not heavier than a single-version with 120-160-power. But the kit is not designed for that option so considerable mods would be neccessary. But it would be awesome!

Jesus, i had a similar problem about the gear. first i wanted WABO retracts but they would not be able to deliver until end of march or so. But then i decided to buy a set of Behotec C-50s with oleos and 105 ° retractangle on the Nose. They came up at ‚¬500, complete with valves, tank etc. and were delivered within a week! Here are some pics of the retracts, they are state of the art. The blocks a milled out of a block of aircraft-grade aluminium, the oles have 18mm diameter and are manufactured to the highest standards and should withstand some kind of abuse
Hi friend, can you tell me the lenght of the main legs and the front leg without wheels?
Which diameter of wheels did you use on the front leg and the mains?
Thank you vero much.

The canopy mold is at Ulmer Kunststofftechnik.
Ulmer Kunststoffteile - Lösungspartner für hochwertige Kunststoffprodukte - Kontakt

They produce the Canopys for AirTech Jet Team and for Liebetrau.
They will not produce any Canopys without permission from the molds
owner but maybe they can contact him or make a contact for you.

Second way is to contact HARALD HUF, he was the original designer of this
plane and he maybe can also help you.

I have this kit and it is almost done, almost ready for paint. Ails and rudders are hinged and primer with panel lines. Landing gears installed. Just need a little more work and paint, or just paint then complete. This is a local sale. Plane is too big to ship. I live by Disneyland, California. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Hello everybody. I still have an untouched kit in my warehouse. It is the deluxe version by Peter Liebetrau. Various work has already been carried out at the factory. Rudder plugging etc .. The kit is complete with everything Unfortunately, I don't get to that time But it costs something .. ;-) If you are interested, email to: [email protected] Can send photos to you. Sorry for the OT ... just because someone asked for it.
