This happened back in 2000. I wasn't there when it happened, but my buddy Jon was running it with him. I just took the pictures the next day...
I'm happy to report the doctor was able to put his finger back together again reasonably well, and he's got full use of it again. It looked a bit skinny for a couple years though...
