Default Starting a Turbax I w/K&B 7.5

I ran this engine on the test stand with a prop to ge a feel for it. Now that it's mounted to the fan I don't see how to prime it through the carb with the fan blades in the way. Also, how would you do this when it's inside the jet? All ideas (within reason ) are welcomed. Thanks

I never had a turbax but I have a Dynamax and I don't prime it to start. I just unplug the airpressure line from the pito and blow a little air in it to let the fuel go to the carb and that's it.

I use a rubber stopper to plug the end of the pipe so the muffler pressure would result in pushed fuel flow to the carb. Remove the stopper after the juice flows to the carb; put the heat on the glow plug and let 'er rip.

That_is_priming it, no?

If you have pipe pressure, unplug the pipe pressure tap, and blow into it until you see fuel going into the feedline to the carb. Or do like Mike says, plug the pipe up, I used to reach inside the tailpipe and close off the stinger with my thumb and have someone turn it over till it fired.

BTW, not all K&B 7.5s have a pump.
