And in consultation with the Station Commander at RAF Coltishall.
The farewell to the Royal Air Force event has now been rescheduled
For Sunday the 2nd of April.
Sorry about this but we had no other choice.

Dear All
Here is the Harrier that will be displaying on Saturday at Coltishall's final operational day.
The fin has been painted with the double armed cross normally worn by 41(F) sqn Jaguares
RegarNo 41(F) Sqn is a dual role tactical reconnaissance and ground attack squadron equipped with Jaguar GR1A aircraft. The Squadron was formed, as part of the Royal Flying Corps, at Gosport on 14 July 1916, almost two years before the Royal Air Force was formed. Equipped with FE8 fighters, the Squadron was posted to St Omer, France on the Western Front in October 1916. Until the end of World War I the Squadron served continuously in France and Belgium, successively re-equipping with SE5 and DH5 aircraft and mainly engaged in offensive patrolling, escort duties and later low-level reconnaissance and ground attack. By the end of the war the Squadron was credited with 124 enemy aircraft destroyed, 112 probable, plus the destruction of 19 hostile kite balloons. The people of St Omer later honoured the Squadron by granting permission for the double armed cross, which is a feature of the arms of St Omer, to be incorporated into the Squadron badge.
Regards Phil G.

RE: RAF Coltishall, Farewell to the Royal Air Force Event
Dear All
Yet again the weather has let us down.
Coltishall met are predicting for Sunday wind speeds 15 to 20 gusting to 30mph.
Rain showers moving in late morning becoming prolonged.
What can you do. Some people are travelling as far a field as Cheshire.
I am very sorry to have to postpone this event once again.
Under the circumstances I have no other choice.
Hopefully we will be able to reschedule it.
I will keep you informed.
Thank You.
Regards Phil "pissed off" Goff.
