Default Fuel pump switch wiring

Hi,
Does any one have a schematic for wiring a 12 volt fuel pump. I would like to use two switches one for power the other for reversing the pump.
Thanks.

Jef,
This is freehand rough but it shows how to do it.

Let me know if you have questions.

Jef,
I'll try it again. The scanner got me the first time.

Your drawing is just what I was looking for. I will pick up the switches tomorrow.
I appreciate your time and effort.
Thank you.

You only need one switch. Get a three position "center off" DPDT switch and wire it as shown in the diagram. Center position is off, one direction for fill, the other way for empty.

Jeff,
Yup, Joeflyer is right...You can eliminate the SPST switch, as it disarms the system to prevent the pump switch from being accidentally operated....It's just a safety measure.
You only need the DPDT switch. All other wiring is correct. You can even use a "Momentary" DPDT switch if you prefer, as it won't pump unless you hold the switch lever in place while pumping. "Momentary" switches are spring loaded to the center "OFF" position.
