Nick your wing work looks great! Did you use any sort of program to design the wing, and make rib templates, like compufoil?

Hey does any one know anything about the JePe EDF unit. i have been trying to get in contact with JePe Jet about their Jet 90-6s units and no reply back on the emails.
I Plan on starting my C-5 build in January and would like to get the EDF units now.

Jerry.

The Jepe units look to be nice. I think they are a little on the expensive side. I originally planned on running 4-90 mm wemo Midi fans but i may go with Tamjets 100 mm's. They are quite a bit more expensive but make oodles of power and have a nice scale rotor.

My dimensions are actually 130" ws and 135 inches long.

Good luck on the build

Looking at the original date i started this thread, i cannot believe it was 2007. Flying the real Galaxy is the main reason for my non-progress. I hope to have mine flying by the end of next year now that i am taking a break from flying.

My progress for this week is that i started on the main doors being cut out. Something most people dont realize is that there are three sets of doors per gear and they are all actuated mechanically with the gear (no separate actuation. This is going to be fun.......

And a picture of the awesome gear mock-up by Paul Stelly!
