RE: PST F-84G Build Thread
My F-84G will also soon be ready to test fly, with all the update recommend by Oliver and Chris.
Thanks Oliver and Chris for share all your building info with us.
Now I am just wating for Chris to come home, so he can make a set of his rotating main doors mechanism for me.

635's indeed haha! Those old blue trucks are crazy, horn goes off when you turn the wheel, lights are off when the switch is on!!! The jets still get it done on a daily basis though!!! Almost time to go home!!!

RE: PST F-84G Build Thread
finally flew my f84g
home build 160 turbine downrated at 14kg (115.000rpm) to preserve it
very stable in the air, slow landing, it flew well with 1/3 of throttle..
long take off (100mt) maybe due to cg very forward 110mm
with a full tank fuel should be much force on the tail plane for the rotation
I'll try to change the cg at 120 / 125mm removing 200g from the nose and change the AOA reducing diameter wheels with lathe
what type of hard rubber was used on the front gear to sobstitute the original sullivan??

RE: PST F-84G Build Thread
i put some modify on my plane like Oliver indications.
i moved down the front gear system add 1cm lenght nose
i reduced the main diameter wheels from 115mm to 105mm
i modified original brake and cleaned it from grease ..
i removed 200g of ballast in the nose
then i will try to take off with 50% main tank full (like sm f-86 1/5 cg problem)
many thx for indication to Oliver and Chris
