Does anyone know if Bob is still manufacturing and selling his T-38 TALON ? Still trying to decide on my next project. any information about the kit would be appreciated. how does it fly on ducted fan ? (cant afford a turbine at this time) Is it stable ? take-off roll ? Perfect fan set-up ? Worth the money ? Thanks. FALCONWINGS, thanks for input on yellow A-4, still tossing that around also.

Check your pm. Kit, gear,wheels/brakes,cockpit kit, pipe, scale aluminum exhaust. Kit was started by someone else and needs a little TLC but totally doable with little effort. About $2600 worth of stuff for $1000. Cant ship as the fuse has already been joined will have to meet somewhere. Give me a call 210-887-5073

Hey guys, I've been browsing these forums for a while and decided to post in here. If you have any questions on the T-38, my Dad did the test building and flying on the model (ducted fan, picture below.) and I believe Dennis Crooks did the Turbine design (don't quote me on that). If you have any questions on it, feel free to ask. It's a very pretty aircraft in the sky and flys really well. Have fun with it.
By the way, Bob is still producing this kit as far as I know.

Be very careful with the Fiorenze kit , there are serious structural problems that are quite easily overcome but not mentioned . I was stung myself ...
After the model disintegrated in level flight i spoke with a gentleman in Florida who had built 5 of his kits for Bob and had recommended carbon reinforcing to Bob after seeing the same thing happen to an early kit ...
Obviously i was disappointed to hear this after a very long and involved build ....

Could you elaborate on what these structural issues are and potential fixes? I am just getting ready to put one together over the winter. Obviously would I would like to avoid the inflight disintegration. I am looking at a 14lb thrust class turbine for it. Thanks in advance.

Bob still sells this kit, but has no dealer supplying his kits. If you can get one, it has everything you can want in a T-38 kit. I like the fact that the fuse is in two pieces, since I'm doing an F-5A version and this is an easy mod to do. I'm making a new nose for it and I modified a GJC F-5E canopy frame to fit. Also with a removable bolted on nose, I can convert back to a T-38.
