hello,
i´m considering to order an new sm f-86 (1:6,5) and I hope, that there is somebody out there who can help me with some questions!?
I followed some of F-86 posts in here but there is a thing I did not found:
can anybody post some pcs about the radio / elektrinc and pneumatic installation - aspecially when using a cockpit .
It looks to that the is not too much space in that fuselage!?
what I plan to put in is
- jet cat p80
- powerbox champion +accus
- pneumatics for gear door sequenzing
- cockpit
does that all fit??
thanks for your posts

Christian.
I am in the middle of writing the Assembly Manuel for the Skymaster F-86
It’s not finished yet but I do have some pictures I could send you for reference.
Just let me know.

Here are some pictures of the one we have here... The space available is very tight but with good planning everything should fit in.

Ok guys this one is important.
The hex head bolt that goes through the bell crank bearings into the bell crank plat, There are no nut plates of any sorts on the back side, it's just the hardwood former. If you go through the rudder wire hole on the top of the fuse you can get a locknut on the hex screw. I also bonded the locknut after I tightened and adjusted everything up.
(PLAY ADJUSTMENT) Tighten the screw down on the bell crank till it starts to tighten up
them back it off just a little until the bell crank moves smoothly with no side to side slop.

Jeff,
Thanks for posting these photos. I did not see on the SM instructions where you are supposed to install a locking nut on the elev bell crank screws. Mine are not secured and we were wondering if its possibe they can come loose. I have my Saber grounded right now due to a motor problem and its a good time to get some keepers on those screws.
Thanks,
V..

Vincent.
I would recommend it. (Its good insurance) They screw into the hardwood plate pretty well but over time you never know if they will loosen up from heat expansion and retraction.

Ok. That’s all I have for now.
Next will be Wings, Gear, Doors, and Turbine.
Hope this helps everyone.
Again the pictures you see here will be used in the new Skymaster-USA F-86 manual.
I will eventually have all the new kit manuals on the Skymaster-USA website.
Thanks and enjoy...
