Beautiful pictures Tasman. I can't wait to see more. It's always nice to see other clubs functions, especially when there in another country. What a great looking flying field you have. It looks nice and open.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Wayne
It’s a rural airfield which they close one of the runways for a three day event. One of the biggest jet meets in Australia. As you may have seen in the last photo, there is a light plane in the background.
Cheers mate.

What an excellent weekend, got to maiden my F-15 with few successful sorties
Hats off to the event organiser's, even tho the sky did get a lil hectic at times.
Just a shame about saturday's wind factor more flying could of been done, but a great weekend overall.

My first Jet meet, and may I say.....awesome, It was so good to meet and put names to faces. Mick (Tasman) bring the pics coming, as I know you have about 300 of them, especially my Hornet.........It was good to the see the Central Coast crowd (Newcastle/Central Coast/Hunter), and it was great to meet some of the guys from SA (you guys are out of control). Keep this thread going and post all the pics you can, it was an excellent weekend with some great flying.

Keep adding as many pics as you like guys, as this will give others a chance to checkout what a fantastic weekend this was.
Thanks Jeremy for adding these fantastic pics well done mate.
Noel, I will continue to add more of your FA18 Super hornet over the coming days + others. Here is a couple more of your jet.
I have also added a pic of Noel and I standing in front on Pauls Pitt Special. Nice form of transport to and from a jet meet don’t you think? While I’m on the subject, a big thank you to Paul B on behalf of all the student pilots for taking the time to travel down and giving them a chance to fly their jets. Thanks mate!

Got to maiden my FE F 16 on the weekend at Temora. I could not have done this without the help of Paps (Peter) who spent many hours with me re plumbing the air and fuel lines that I did a crap job of building. This is my first jet and what a hoot. I took my video camera but it died at the field bugger!!! So only pics. Me with a big smile after maiden. Also big thank you to Paul from SA who did an awesome job of calling and keeping me calm for the maiden and tips during the building process. Good to meet the whole SA crew also!! And Finally Brett the Jet Central service rep for fixing the starter motor problem and tweaking my ECU on the Falcon JF 100 jet turbine!!!

JC here is a picture of the Cougar.
There is no scale jet meet at this location in Dec as far as I know. Only once a year at Temora and it's on Sep each year.
I'm not sure if there any other jet meets during this time, maybe someone else can point you in the right direction. Can anyone add anything to this question?
Love your profile pic, hehehe

Thanks for the pics Tasman and Jeremy.
Temora was my first Jet event in Oz, after I moved across the ditch last year from NZ. It was the first time I have seen so many incredible models on display as well as being flown, especially some of the scratch built aeroplanes.
There was a fair bit of pressure on the flight line at times, which I am not paticulaly used to, but Jason and John did a great job of calling for me and my Bandit performed fuss free.
I have now spent three days with the Australian jet community and I can say that this is the nicest, friendly bunch of people you could ever wish to meet. Temora is a supurb site, was exceptionally well organised, and everybody seemed to have a great time.
Thanks to Jason and his team for such a great event.
Roger

Hi Guys,
The Temora RC Jet Event is organised and run by the Jet Flyers Association of NSW. We have been running this event (originally called Jets Over Sydney, before our move to Nowra then Temora) for some 11years - right back to the D/F days when turbines were a wet dream.
This years efforts by our association, JFA, has seen Temora RC Jets , become the biggest jet event in Auss. 62 pilots -93 models - flight line WAS busy. Almost perfect weather for 3 days.
Our thanks go to the Temora Aviation Museum and the Temora Council for their unswerving dedication to ALL things aviation.
To JC in USA, sorry no meets now till next year, but the JFA members fly regularly at Nowra and Newcastle whenever we can get in touch [email protected] and I will keep you posted.
For those that were virgins at Temora, hope you enjoyed the experience, and will be back next year - we have big things planned.
Regards to All,
Dave Burns

Hi Jeff,
Hope you had a great time at Temora, 3 days of great flying. And staying at the bunkhouses on the field are just great, mines already booked for next year.
The Mig 29 arrives soon, so its time to retire the 15.
Let me know when your coming over, now that I have a full time job again, there's beer in the fridge.
Dave.
