Went to Cabelas in Hamburg, PA no luck there. I'll try Bass Pro in Harrisburg, PA.

I found some at Bass Pro Shops, I bought a few, but after I am done I will convert to regular Coleman propane. Powermax is getting harder and harder to find.

just buy the cheap propane green bottles, about $2.00 on sale, and get the regulating valve, $24.95, from Todd at Dreamworks!

I used to be able to buy it locally at SPrtsmart, Big 5, etc., but they stopped carrying it.

So, I simply mail ordered a couple of dozen cans from these guys: http://www.scoutmansupply.com/Produc...ProductID=1008

If you have a Sports Authority in your area, give them a try. It seems to be a seasonal item in our area but when the season is right, I get mine at our local Sports Authority.

The Dick's Sporting Goods near me no longer carries it, but the Gander Mountain down the street does.

What is REI?
It's an outdoor, camping, sporting goods store. Google it to see if there is one near you.

I get mine at Gander Mountain.

It is a sporting goods store as well. I am fortunate that I have on about 5 minutes from me.

Man this stuff is getting hard to find, I think I will just get the little green coleman cans and rig up something that way. Thanks for all your help but If you can find it and want it you better buy it because all the camping stores seem to be discontinuing it.

HI all, Jetcats run properly on liquid from a Powermax can, it is metered that way for a clean start. Coleman works, but you are on your own, hit and miss, shorta speak.

Mark,

You may try Sportsman Warehouse in Pittsburgh. That franchise is where I purchased my last batch here in Ky.

I'm up here in PA for the wife's work right now (I'm Retired). But my home is in Grayson, KY near the West Virginia border, I use to work at Lawrenceburg, KY for the Sate of Ky Abondoned Mined Lands office. The Sportsmans warehouse is on the North end of the state for me and I'm here in Reading, PA. But thanks for the heads up. The search continues.

There are MANY brands of gas with basically the same propane/butane mix as Powermax.

For reasons NOT related to the gas itself, Powermax is getting harder to find, but equivalent products will be plentiful forever.

And I am sure there are more.

You can just push the stock plastic probe into these can valves or you can invest 15 bucks for this valve:

Matt: Is there any reasonable explanation not to use the green bottles in the Jetcats. Because here where
I live is impossible to get the Powermax bottles. If we try to by them in the states, the inland taxes will
split us in half. So any other recommendations will be accepted.

Thanks

Hector
