Ron what scale would you say that plane is?

You have a lot of options if you can fit a 1/6 figure in it, (BBI, Dragon, DID, Team 10, etc...) you can also chop them up and just use the torso from the waist up.
Toys R Us has some smaller action figures that i would guess are 1/8 or 1/10 scale.

The cockpit is about 5" wide so anything up to that would work the wingspan is about 72". My big jet (98" long) the "Hurricane" uses a doll I found at Toys R Us. It is about 16" tall. I need something a little smaller.. Thanks for the input!

Hi Ron,

I'm starting a page on my website providing carved pilot portraits. They can look like you, the pilkot of your rc plane (any size) or someone that you would rather see in the cockpit of your plane.

Please check out my site: Pilot portraits[/link]http://www.mikebrentart.com/custom4.html

To Order: [/link]http://www.mikebrentart.com/pilotportraits.html

I'll be providing more photos of completed pilots as I get orders. The first 10 requests will be 1/2 price.

So please visit the site and provide feedback. Thanks, Mike

Ron, is not my intention to highjack this thread. But since is about a pilot figure, I don't want to open a new thread. I'm also looking a jet figure pilot for an AW Hawk and got no idea where to look it. Other than AW Germany; Does anybody have a clue where to look for a pilot this big? Thanks.

Hi Mike
Can you make a pilot in a jetfighter uniform?

Best regards
Christian

I don't do full body pilots. I can do pilots from mid-chest to the top of the head though. If that works, forward pics of what you want and we'll take it from there. If that doesn't work, try Lyle Vasser of Best Pilots For RC Bombers at: [link]http://www.bestpilots.typepad.com/[/link]http://www.bestpilots.typepad.com/

His email address is: [email protected]

Make sure you let him know that Mike of Pilot Portraits sent you!

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, I can do that. I'll need the exact measurements: 1- from the base where the pilot will sit, to the top of your canopy. 2- Then I'll need the width of the floor of the cockpit in the spot where you will mount your pilot.

Please go to my site [link]http://www.mikebrentart.com/custom4.html[/link]http://www.mikebrentart.com/custom4.html to see how to send reference pictures of yourself. I took the sample pictures on the site with a simple digital camera. I mounted a white cloth behind the subject to make it easier to see the face. If you can't do that, just get the best jpegs that you can. I can give you a price once I have the measurements. For example: If the space from the floor is 6 inches, let me know how much of that 6" you want devoted to the head and the rest will be the chest area. If you have the scale of the jet, that will help too!

Thanks, Mike

If You can wait for the mail you can go to ebay and type in petes pilots - in the left information panel click on world wide . He's in the U.K. and sells pilot busts on ebay and full figure pilots away from ebay
