Default BVM Aggressor II

Guys don't fall over dead. Have a nib BVM Aggreesor II. Kit is complete with retracts. I have all the plans/instructions with the kit. What I looking for is the addendum for the retract installation and the retract kit. Supposed to be molded gear doors and instructions for installing. I don't have those. When I get parts this build will be featured on RCU. Old school df. Have Viojet fan and KBV .91 engine. Read old AMA rags in the past that says this plane will go 200+ on a df. Hang on to you shorts. I am also almost finished with an old rare DCU Mig-15. Have a very rare Viojet fan and a BVM .81 engine that is going to power that rocket. Anyone that needs info on these 2 projects let me know. Let me know if you have any info on the Aggressor. If y'all want me to send pics of the Mig or the Aggressor let me know. Lets go old school with dfs. They are not dead. Only been hiding.

Here are some pics of the BVM Aggressor II and the DCU Mig-15. Both kits about 20 years old. Aggressor going to have BVM Viojet and KBV .91. One thing for sure, BVM makes the best jet kits. Had to custom make almost everything on the Mig. Was told that maybe only 50 kits of the Mig-15 were made. Mig has the Viojet fan and KBV .81 installed. Mig better be a bullet with all the time I have put into it. Read old MAN and AMA mags that said Aggressor held the record for being fastest DF. Have on mag that said Aggressor hit 223 mph. Thinking of maybe putting 14lb turbine in Aggressor. Let me know what y'all think. Turbine or DF in Aggressor?

I used to have the Aggressor II, with a BVM .81 . It was a nice model. I sold it to someone that lives just South of you, in Lancaster. Do you have the saddle fuel tanks? Those may be hard to find...

Here's my Aggressor II from the eary '90's.

It powered by the Viojet and the KBV72 engines. It was clocked at Woodland at 173mph one time.

Nice, I always thought the Ultra Viper was the fastest DF [X(]

I wote for the DF setup!

2005, T-38 Jet Rally. I just couldn't maintain it and the turbines simultaneously any more... Had to thin out the herd. []

I used to own that Aggressor 2 kit. My dad and I pulled a mold off the nose of the fuse. Thats why its the only primed area...

Have fun!

Henschel,
Here you go I did an Aggressor 2 but converted it to turbine. I think its the only one turbine powered. I have a few things to finish on her before she is done but here is the link to my build thread.

I Might have the directions on the speed door kit if I kept it. Your welcome to it if I have it I don't have the parts I used the doors on the jet.

I will look and let you know.

I thought John Redman just said he had a door kit for an Agg II?

Larry Jacob did 255 mph in Paul Ivie's Viper. That will be very hard to beat.

It took everything I had to get to 207 with mine. The guys that consistently got over 215-220 were (are) really good sticks I tell you.

Sounds like alot of people use to own Aggressor II. Top Buns. I traded an AMD Bae Hawk kit for the Aggressor II kit from a guy named George in San Bernardino, Ca. Lots of good looking Aggressor pics. Jetpilot yours is looking pretty good. Once I finish the DCU Mig-15 I will be starting in on the Aggressor.

Ribbe, that Aggressor of yours I have a pic of an article from either old AMA or MAN magazine. So far that is the fastest Aggressor II I have seen in those old mags. Who says DFs are dead!

Just got an email back from BVM. BVM still has the instructions for the gear doors and the landing. Got to love BVM. God bless them. Will be getting the rest of the Aggressor II parts next week from guy in CA. Will have an extra BVM Viojett fan for sale when I get it. Also will be getting 2 Dynamax fans with OS .91 engines with all the goodies next week. 1 Dynamax fan and OS.91 fan with all the goodies will be put up for sale soon so if anyone is interested in these let me know. Decided to put Dynamax fan in DCU Mig-15 with BVM .81engine. More updates on that one if anyone is interested. Haven't decided yet on DF or turbine for Aggressor II. One thing for sure. Will be buying Century Jet F-105F Thunderchief and will put Jet Joe JJ1800 in that and will feature build on RCU. O god I can see the stuff hit the fan now. DF or turbine? Jet Joe or Wren? Build it and they will come. Like a good buddy of mine says "Their are no rules in building model airplanes"

Hey, I have a tech question about the VioJett installation. If you ran an imaginary centerline through the rotor/crankshaft to the center of the thrust tube exhaust opening, what is the incidence angle relative to the wing airfoil centerline and the horizontal stab. Is the plane set up at zero-zero-zero (all lines parallel)? Does the Agressor have a symmetrical airfoil? I am homebrewing an airframe for my VioFan with Violett thrust tube and BVM 91, and this is critical setup info. Thanks - Frank(lousyflyer)Sheridan

Andrew,

Sorry that you didn't get an answer on your throws and C.G. but I'm glad that the maiden went well regardless.  I'd have chimed in but I built Vipers not Aggressors back in my DF days.  You might want to PM Harely Contra as he seems to be an expert on all things BVM, including this information for the old kits.

Hey Henschel,

did BVM get you what you needed for the gear door system?

I still have one new set of gear doors for the old Agg bird. Probably will never use them. Might be the only set left in the universe. If you need them let me know.

Hey Andrew,

Glad to hear your Aggressor is kicking butt   Also glad to hear your happy with the power produced by the TF4000 fan. As you know it has pushed my Starfire into the high 180's and Electra past 200.  What's the all up weight on your Agressor?
