Thanks and it was all one flight. Fuel tank holds 14 oz.
I had another 4 or 5 flights today and have now had a total of about 40 flights without any problems
Thanks

Thanks for the info Andy, is your turbine direct from the factory or have you made some changes to it??? Just curious because I would like to have a Micro turbine set up
as well. I understand that you can get them from shops that have made some modifications to them to fine tune them. Will The Jetline JJJ's be factory direct units or will
they undergo some final set up adjustments?
Happy to hear that you are having good success with the JJJ.
OK for now and Thanks Again Andy

It came from the Factory and we now retail them in the UK.
The tail cone has been opened a little and the front cover sealed. We will do this for customers.
Another video can be found at

Hello Andy!!! and thanks for the new video...Looks like a fun set up you have there... I really like the slow flying as well and the jet handled the lower speeds nicely.
Andy as you mentioned the tailpipe and front cover was sealed and you will provide this for the JJJ's that you sell, excellent. Apart from the tailpipe and sealing was everything else
factory, and are you running with the supplied bearings. Your JJJ sounds Super and very normal, I beleve that the past experiences from JJJ owners have been rectified. OK Andy
will the JJJ be fine tuned tested on your end before shipping?
Talk to you later and Thanks Again for the Jet Video Entertainment...Nice flyig and magnetic camera work.
Happy Flying

Apart from the tail cone and front seal all is as from the Jet Joe factory.
I will do these mods for customers if required but I think you will find that Jet Joe will do this at the Factory anyway.
Bearings have not been changed.
The Twinjet is great and its a shame the kit is no longer available. It even glides well when the fuel runs out.
I have a few pictures of the install etc. but need to resize them before posting.
I am now looking at putting a Jet Joe Jnr into a Lander Panther and FlyFly MIG29.
Thanks

One thing that does surprise me is that Andy’s engine never flames unless it uses all the fuel and I mean all of it, there’s hardly a drop left in the tank. Quite amazing considering it's a tiny engine, there’s no UAT or header and just one of those ceramic clunks we used years ago.
Mines being treated to a nice new pair of bearings tonight so it should be flying Monday if the weather is ok.

Jason,
Any idea why Andy's engine runs ok whereas your having so many problems with yours? I'm really tempted with one of these little engines and am leaning towards the Lambert but the £££ is really putting me off. If the JJJ can be made to run fairly well I may give it a go.

Nice install Andy, that's cool, I have a Twinjet that I purchased 2 years ago... I have copletely glassed it and sanded it, it looks really good
and now can be painted... That little turbine would be perfect on this glassed Twinjet... I would post some pictures but my files are all too
big... I must get some software to reduce the size of the pictures...
Looks like you gave this Topic a nice fresh outlook, nice one... Looking forward to more good JJJ flying stories and videos...
Thank You Andy and everyone for your pics & videos and information...
Happy Flying...

yes, because Andy sat back while I found out what to do to make the things run right (mainly thanks to Smithy on here) and then he did the mods to his engine

I'd get a Lambert or wait for something British to come on the market...

My latest problem was due to the compressor nut deciding to come loose allowing the compressor to come forward and touch the inlet. It's all a little mangled but should run fine so I fitted a new front bearing tonight and I will give Andy a run for his money on Monday[8D]

I'm thinking about the P-20 too but details (particularly release date) are still pretty scarce at the moment. I would also like to see how big it is compared with the JJJ and the Lambert.
Anyway, sorry to sidetrack the JJJ thread.

JC P20....it is something to consider. It all depends on its size and price. So by next year we might have JJJ,Kolibri and P20 to ponder upon. Since P20 is still in the womb....I will leave it aside.

Great video Jason and congrats to Andy for showing that the JJJ runs. It takes the whole turbine flying business from tarmac runways into the local park. Hmm and it is quiet too.
Jet Joe should package it fitted into a RTF Twin jet clone. Hmm I THINK I am serious about this?

After many hours trying to get the JJJ running right I have given up. I managed to break two new rear bearings yesterday so that's 6 bearings the engine has had in total. I recon I must have had the thing apart 30 times and although I could see nothing wrong the blighter still would not run properly. I really thought with a little persistence I could have cracked the thing but unfortunately my supply of expensive bearings ran out before that so I have called it a day. I have now disposed of it and it is out of my life forever, thank god!!
Now I need another nano engine...

Hello J, just wondering where you can fly a turbine in a local park... I flew a couple of times in a nice park in Italy but not with a turbine, just electric prop...Would be
nice if you could just fly a small turbine jet anywhere. Could you fly a Twinjet or a Funjet without wheels or brakes anywhere that you felt was safe or are you regulated
to an AMA firld to operate a turbine...
Happy Flying!!!

Are you going for a Kolibri or waiting for the Cat... Can't wait to get a Nano as well just waiting a bit longer to see what comes along...
