Hey Chuck,

No mate, still trying to get the missing bits and pieces together. Ausjets have a JJ shipment coming in in a few weeks, so will have all the bits after that. Looking forward to it, though.

Felix... that was great. Can you post up a few pictures of the install?

I'm buildign one, but I'm putting in a Wren 44 gold with 10# thrust. I guess I won't need more than half throttle.

Tony you should think about turning the RPMs down on your 44.

GEEZZZZZZZZZZZZ ! I heard you the first time. (J/K )

I already thought about that. I got RPM/Thrust info from Wren UK. I planed on setting at no more than a 1:1 thrust ratio. I'm projecting 8Lbs wet. (with 32oz fuel)

Here you have a link, ( in Spanish, but with a lot of pics of the install).

http://www.rcmodelistas.es/foro/avio...ior-t3614.html

My junior pulls 1,7 Kg, enough to fly the model, but 2,5 kg would be perfect, I think. Mine weight 2,8 Kg. empty

If do you need aditional info, let me know.

Regards.

G'day Chuck, yes I did mate, but only at Smithy's house. I have since tried to get it to run at home but have not had any luck. I must be doing something wrong. Am now working out a day to go back to Smithy's place to see what the problem is. I am suspecting either the fuel pump or me not doing something right.

James.

Is it the bearings with the JJJ that are the problem?

Is it the bearings with the JJJ that are the problem?
No, the bearings are good quality GRW items. The problem lies with the preload system and poor balance from the factory.

Cheers,
Smithy.
