Welcome back GSR and Wocketman. Thanks for the input. I have the email here from the supplier to the owner of the JJ1400. I am relaying info that I obtained. As I stated before..... It's worth an email to the supplier. You really need expert opinion here. Dont take these guys word for it.

I bought one at the beginning of the year. I was not aware of the time limit involved in selling a quality product. And mine is flying. If any of the jjj are flying please let me know, as I am just as curious about this motor as anyone else.
Was my above statement not correct?

Yea but not at 4am LOL
I was mearly refering to your conflicting interests, you're bound to poo poo any competition mate as I probably would, but with no personal experience of the jjj it just comes across as sour grapes when in this case the competition isn't worth worrying about just yet.

copy or not, they are trying to sell a product in the same market so they are indeed competition. Just like a ford mondeo is in the same market as an audi a6 and everyone knows fords are crap in comparisson

With a Ford, at least I could drive. With my JJJ, I would have bought an illusion.
And now JJJ fans, please shoot at will, but remember : I am wasting only words on this thread, you wasted money. (Pun intended).

long enough for me to be happy to buy one !!!!!! i really think that all you out there need to just back off the subject a little the engine is a good runner granted not from the factory but after you have someone that knows a thing or two fix the little problems the thing is an absolute gooer and buy the way the engine ran for atleast 5 mins anylonger and the neighbours might not like it being it was night time

Gents,
Wasn't the purpose of the thread to pass tips and help suggestions between OWNERS? How's about we get back to that?
JJ bashing is getting a bit tiresome and none productive. But, passing info and tips along is great. On thread I follow has 1300 or more posts. Some really good stuff. AND, almost no bashing, whing, speculation or complaining? Just I did this and that happened, then replies like try it this way and it's even better.... Dialogue like that.
So, I'd like to hear more on the tweaks needed to make a nano-joe run. I heard about the bearing preload....what else?
